Field Hunts

The trembling energy of a splendid English setter holding point. The sudden rush of frantic feathers as a covey of bobwhite bursts from the broom straw. River Bend offers a variety of exciting hunting opportunities, but its specialty is in quail, pheasant, chukar, duck and turkey. Choose one of their package hunts, or arrange your own. Enjoy your hunt using your own dogs, or hunt behind River Bend's superior dogs and guides. Half and full day hunts are available.

Duck Hunts

Duck hunting is better at River Bend. Here, there's no getting up before dawn to get to a blind. River Bend provides a hearty breakfast and will take you to the blinds at 9am. Due to River Bend's special permit, the only requirement is a S.C. Small Game License (for S.C. residents) or a Non-resident Shooting Preserve Permit (for non-residents). Duck hunting season begins November 1st and runs until March 1st.

Deer Hunts

River Bend offers Whitetail Deer hunting from stands overlooking food plots during the normal South Carolina Deer Hunting Season. Contact River Bend For more info.

Turkey Hunts

A turkey's keen sense of hearing and its unpredictability make it a unique and fun hunting experience. River Bend provides a hearty breakfast and will guide you to the blinds at 9am. The only requirement is a S.C. Small Game License (for S.C. residents) or a Non-resident Shooting Preserve Permit (for non-residents). Turkey season runs from April 1st - April 30th.

Tower Hunts 

Waiting in a blind for pheasants to rocket past from a seventy-five foot tower makes for an unforgettable hunting experience. This is the perfect activity to entertain groups of 15 to 30 from October through March.

Tower shoots include a southern-style breakfast and lunch, skeet range warm up, two boxes of shells, 10 pheasants released per person, money birds and cleaning and packaging of birds. Breakfast is served at 8:30am and the shoot is over around noon. Availability is limited to 30 shooters and reservations can be made by calling 800-516-9606.
