River Bend Sportsmans Resort Summer Camp conducts an intensive shooting sports program in four one week sessions with a maximum of 12 campers per session. The camp curriculum provides useful firearm experience for both the novice and advanced camper. Safety in the use and handling of firearms is prominently emphasized in the camp’s SC Hunter and Boaters Education classes as well as in all of our shooting program activities. All rifle and pistol instruction is conducted under NRA guidelines by certified instructors and includes actual range time firing at standard targets from 50 feet to 100 yards. The shotgun program is conducted by NSCA certified instructors with a focus on skeet, five stand and sporting clays. Additional activities include paintball, archery, game identification, turkey calling, deer rattling and other traditional camp activities. Our accommodations are one level, air-conditioned and can house two campers. Classroom activities and general meetings all take place in our conference center.
